is back! QVMC’s
new Surgery Suites & Operating Room celebrated it's Open
House and Ribbon Cutting ceremony on November 26th,
2007
The ribbon was cut @ 5:00 by Mehdi Merred (QVMC CEO), Don
Condit (QVMC Commissioner's Chairman) and Dr Cornu-Labat
The public was invited to see
 and tour the
newly renovated Surgery Center and Operating Room at QVMC. The open
house was a wonderful success and we thank the community, foundation
members and commissioners' for attending this truly special evening.
This one time
opportunity was for the community to see
the newly
renovated
 center before
the formal move in date of equipment, supplies and sterilization was
completed. We warmly welcomed our community members to
experience the full detail of this significant project at QVMC. With
pictures of the past and conversations with our medical staff,
community members were be able to see and feel the full
 transformation.
This newly renovated surgery center (designed over 50 years ago)
is part of QVMC's long-range plan to meet the changing expectations
for health care services and our commitment to provide outstanding,
compassionate patient-centered medical care to our community. It is
right here in our community, to give all patients the ease of access
that is enjoyed in outpatient centers and the ability to receive
complex, highly specialized procedures once the patient is in the
operating room.
