Health & Fitness Fair 2008

admission to the community.

 Valuable
health and fitness related information will be provided by local area
businesses and QVMC departments, presented in a free to low cost,
fun, and interactive way.
Give-a-ways and freebies
for attendees will offered at many of the booths, and special prizes
will be offered by QVMC just for participating. All students, local
companies & employees, retired community members and local visitors
are encouraged to attend.
There will also be a few demonstrations and a fun Emergency Medical Services event.
 We
will offer health and fitness screenings and educational
information. The following will be provided at this year's fair:

+ Lipid profile test
(cholesterol)
+ Blood pressure checks
+ Thyroid Screening
+ Prostate Screening
+ Local business
education and wellness programs
+ Fitness demonstrations
