+ Our Foundation "Charitable Hearts & Helping Hands"
  Mission: The Mission of Quincy Valley Hospital Foundation (QVMF) is to seek, receive, and administer donations for the benefit of QVMC.
Purpose: The purpose of QVMF is to financially augment QVMC. The Foundation helps purchase special capital equipment items and supports special projects. The Foundation only funds projects that will ultimately help the Medical Center fulfill its mission and vision.
Over the years the Foundation has been involved with many projects.
Most recently, the foundation granted the hospital funding for the following projects and equipment:

Portable Wheelchair
scale for the hospital. | | • |
2 new stretchers
for the ER. | • | Electronic lifts for the long-term care residents. | | • | Parking lot repairs. | | • | Commercial laundry facility on campus. |
The Foundation also raised $75,000 to provide matching money for a USDA grant awarded to QVMC for the purchase of Computer Radiography (CR) equipment. CR provides better quality x-rays than the old equipment and allows for an expedited diagnosis.

 Our special events
help build community support for
Quincy Valley Medical Center through participants and volunteers. Thousands of dollars have been raised by
Quincy Valley Hospital Foundation to go toward the purchase of medical equipment
and more.
As healthcare improves and the population of our community grows, the public places greater demands on our hospital. At the same time, insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid, are paying less to hospitals like ours making the need for support from organizations like the Foundation more and more important.
