Mission:

The Mission of Quincy Valley Medical Center Foundation (QVMCF) is to seek, receive, and administer donations for the benefit of QVMC.

Purpose:

The purpose of QVMCF is to financially augment QVMC.The Foundation helps purchase special capital equipment items and supports special projects. The Foundation only funds projects that will ultimately help the Medical Center fulfill its mission and vision. For information on the Foundation's Board of Directors, please click here.

Sponsorship Information:

We need your support to help bring new and improved services to the Quincy Valley Medical Center.  Donations made to the Foundation DO NOT support the administrative/operating costs of the facility.  ALL donations go towards bringing new or improved services to meet the needs of our community.  For further information or to make a donation, please contact Michele Wurl at (509) 787 5349.

Contributions to QVMC:

Over the years the Foundation has been involved with many projects to benefit the Quincy Valley Medical Center. In 2010, the Foundation funded over $90,000 worth of items for the facility.  Items funded were:

    • Anesthesia Machine
    • Memory Garden flag pole
    • Counter top steamer
    • Commercial floor scrubber
    • North Wing roof repair
    • Tympanic thermometers
    • End title CO2 monitors
    • bilirubin blanket and lights
    • Stryker stretcher
    • Dining room tables
    • Electric range
    • Low temp dishwasher

 

The Foundation actively works to secure grants benifiting the Quincy Valley Medical Center. Paul Lauzier Charitable Trust (2014) - Funding for a ventilator for the Emergency Room AZ Wells Foundation  - Assistance with EMR implementation in the Clinic; funding for Outpatient Orthopedic Equipment; ICD-10 preparedness funding
