ER Nurse Auditor:

Quincy Valley Medical Center, a rural healthcare facility, strives to recruit, hire and retain the highest qualified, detail oriented, committed and compassionate full-time Nurse Auditor. The Nurse Auditor will be responsible for reviewing medical records for accuracy and completeness to maximize reimbursement.  The Nurse Auditor will be responsible for maintaining a daily auditing log, participating in quality improvement and data collection.  The applicant should have current knowledge of the ACEP billing and the HCFA documentation guidelines. General Surgery - Surgeon:

Quincy Valley Medical Center, a rural healthcare facility, has an opening for a General Surgeon. This position entails maintaining clinic hours to examine patients for potential surgical procedures; provide medical services in area of general surgery; maintain continuing physician‑patient relationship with patients; participate in professional organizations and programs, and assist with community and marketing programs to enhance visibility, acceptance, and use of services.  The individual will assist the Hospital to develop and implement educational, training, and in‑service programs for technicians, nurses, and other personnel, as well as provide professional medical supervision and training of employees.  Surgeon will keep proper, timely, and complete medical records; submit appropriate diagnosis and procedure descriptions and assist with staff coding efforts as required.  Provide emergency surgical services on an on‑call basis.  This position is 32 hours/week, 8 hours/day, no call currently required.  For more detailed information call Colleen Canfield, BSN,RN,CNOR, Director of Outpatient Services & Surgery at (509) 787-5396.  Mail CV and completed application attention the Human Resources Department.
