RN:

General Surgery - Surgeon: Quincy Valley Medical Center, a rural healthcare facility, has an opening for a General Surgeon.  This position entails maintaining clinic hours to examine patients for potential surgical procedures; provide medical services in area of general surgery; maintain continuing physician‑patient relationship with patients; participate in professional organizations and programs, and assist with community and marketing programs to enhance visibility, acceptance, and use of services.  The individual will assist the Hospital to develop and implement educational, training, and in‑service programs for technicians, nurses, and other personnel, as well as provide professional medical supervision and training of employees.  Surgeon will keep proper, timely, and complete medical records; submit appropriate diagnosis and procedure descriptions and assist with staff coding efforts as required.  Provide emergency surgical services on an on‑call basis.  This position is 32 hours/week, 8 hours/day, no call currently required.  For more detailed information call Colleen Canfield, BSN,RN,CNOR, Director of Outpatient Services & Surgery at 509.787.5396.  Mail CV and completed application attention the Human Resources Department.
